Ife Akinroyeje is a multifaceted individual with a deep commitment to social justice, the outdoors, and community. She is the founder and director of Wanderers of Colour, an organisation focused on increasing access for people of color in the outdoors, while also addressing the systemic issues that limit such participation​

Her background also spans social advocacy, particularly in areas related to gender, race, and community outreach. She has worked in various research and community-focused roles, such as with Social Life, where she combined her interests in participatory research, photography, and mixed media research with her passion for advocacy on social issues​.

Additionally, Ife is involved in health and education equity as part of her work as a co-founder and trustee of Health Pioneers, where she leads initiatives focused on mentorship and health​.
